# Settings

The **Settings** tab is where you can tailor FlexCon Product Rental to fit your brand and customer communication needs perfectly. From customizing messages to setting up helpful pop-ups, these options give you full control.

## 1. Rental product display:

#### Rental availability

The config helps you display product availability in the date picker to help customers choose available rental dates.

* When **enabled**, the customer can know how many items are available on a specific date.

* When **disabled,** available stocks are hidden. The customer still cannot select unavailable dates.

## 2. Information Pop-ups

These pop-ups are designed to inform your customers about your rental and try-on processes directly on the product page. They're a great way to answer common questions and build confidence.

* **Rental Information Pop-up:** When customers choose the "Rent" option on a product, they'll see a clickable link to view a pop-up with important rental details and steps.\

* **Try-on Information Pop-up:** Similarly, if a customer selects "Try-on," they can click to view a pop-up explaining your try-on process and what to expect.\

* **Rental/Try-on information:** Display an additional note below the rental section.\

**Control and Customize:** You can easily **enable** or **disable** each pop-up, or click the "**Edit**" button to fully customize its content to match your brand's voice and specific instructions.

## 3. Email Notifications

#### Email sender

* To change the email sender, select **Use custom domain**

* Enter your **sender business email** to set as the email from & click **Save**

DO NOT USE a public email domain (e.g., gmail.com, yahoo.com, hotmail.com). Please use your business email only!

* Open your mailbox > Find the email sent by ***Amazon Web Services*** > **Click the verification link**

**Note:** Please also check your Spam folder if you can't find it.

* In our app, please select **I've verified** to continue to the next step > Select **Get DNS records** to download the Excel file

* Please open your Domain setup and add those records to the Domain DNS records

Keep your customers informed every step of the way with automated email notifications. These help ensure a smooth experience and reduce manual communication for you.

* **Rental Confirmation Email:** Sent to customers immediately after they place a rental order, confirming their booking.
* **Upcoming rental email:** Send email to customers x day(s) before the rental starts.\
  **Note:** You can edit the **x** day(s).
* **Rental Start Email:** Notifies customers when their rental period officially begins.
* **Upcoming return email:** Send email to customers x day(s) before rental duration ends.\
  **Note:** You can edit the **x** day(s).
* **Return announcement email:** Send an email to customers when the rental duration ends and the rental products need to be returned.
* **Late return notice:** Send a reminder when a rental return is overdue and inform customers about possible late return charges.
* **Try-on Confirmation Email:** Confirms a customer's try-on appointment details after they've booked it.

**Manage Your Emails:** For each notification:&#x20;

* You can **enable or disable** its automatic sending.&#x20;

* You can also send a test email by clicking "**Send test**" and entering an email address to preview how it looks!

* **Edit email**: You can edit the email subject & email body of the email

If you want to reset to the default template, select **Reset to default**

**Note:** Please keep the tags (e.g. {{order.order\_number}}) when changing content

## 4. Text Customization

Running a store in a language other than English? Or want to adjust the wording on your product pages? This section allows you to change the default texts displayed by FlexCon.

* You can easily modify the labels, buttons, and other descriptive texts that appear in the product rental section on your storefront. This is especially useful for stores operating in languages like German, Italian, or French, ensuring a fully localized customer experience.
